Mid-season reminder: Water safety onboard matters

Yachting season is in full swing — sun-soaked days, crystal waters, and unforgettable moments at sea. But no matter how luxurious the setting, safety onboard is never optional. Whether you’re cruising calm coastlines or anchored in a scenic bay, a few smart habits are important to keep everyone safe, relaxed, and fully able to enjoy the experience.

Safety essentials: Simple reminders that make the difference

  • Lifejackets & gear: Double-check that all safety equipment — lifejackets, flares, first-aid kits — are present, accessible, and in excellent condition.
  • Responsible enjoyment: That chilled drink might be a part of the lifestyle, but judgment matters — especially around open decks and water access. Keep the good times going by staying sharp and aware.
  • Sun contact: Salt air and sea breeze can trick you. Hydrate often, use high-SPF sunscreen, and wear protective clothing when needed. Sunbathe slowly and enjoy the moment — the sun won’t escape, so don’t rush with the tanning, because no one wants to get burned.

Safe, smooth and exceptional

Safety gives you the freedom to enjoy every moment onboard. So take a moment to run those checks, refresh your crew and ensure your vessel is prepared for the voyage.

We wish you a season of smart sailing and unforgettable experiences.
